uses different groups of muscles at the same time involves all parts of the body develops large motor skills e.g makes circles with whole body hones fine motor skills e.g makes small circles with hand ensures proper joint alignment promotes proper posture in standing.and moving /shifting weight uses both sides of the brain exercises with slow movements involves multi tasking of the entire body.

your mind stays active thus preventing memory loss improves ability to concentrate and stay focused enhances the blood circulation around the body prevents/lowers high blood pressure reduces stress, anxiety and depression.improves patience and self confidence builds up bone density, therefore beneficial if you suffer from low bone density.promotes strong bones,developed muscles, flexible joints, good balance and proper postures to help prevent falls and injuries the slow movements allow for good coordination, precise positions, accurate performance, the massaging of internal organs and smooth, flowing movements.reduces the amount of stress on the joints relaxes the muscles.calms and clears the mind because, Chi or vital energy flows through whole body, the immune system is stronger and therefore Tai Chi practitioners are less likely to suffer minor ailments.
